Cherokee Bluff Middle School Defeats Habersham Middle School Raiders in a Blow-Out Victory

Cherokee Bluff Middle School sailed to an easy victory over Habersham Middle School Raiders 17-2 on Tuesday

Cherokee Bluff Middle School fired up the offense in the first inning, when Erik Grunduski singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Cherokee Bluff Middle School notched seven runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Cherokee Bluff Middle School was led by Cohen Carter, Cody Bridger, Gavin Price, Chase Kiewert, and Cooper Dean, who all drove in runs.

Bridger led things off on the mound for Cherokee Bluff Middle School. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out one and walking zero.

Gage Teague led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Habersham Middle School Raiders. The bulldog allowed five hits and six runs over two innings, striking out one. Kaden Smith and Gage Massey entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one inning respectively.

Cherokee Bluff Middle School scattered 12 hits in the game. Grunduski, Brady Wagner, and Bridger all managed multiple hits for Cherokee Bluff Middle School. Grunduski went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Cherokee Bluff Middle School in hits.
