Brett House showed timely hitting on Thursday, driving in five on two hits to lead Cherokee Bluff Bears Varsity past West Hall Spartans Varsity 16-5 on Thursday. House drove in runs on a single in the third and a grand slam in the fifth.
Cherokee Bluff Bears Varsity earned the victory despite allowing West Hall Spartans Varsity to score three runs in the third inning. West Hall Spartans Varsity scored its runs on a passed ball by Michael Gaddy.
