Cherokee Bluff Middle School Drops Game to Dragons MS After Late Score

Cherokee Bluff Middle School lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat to Dragons MS on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Dragons MS batting in the top of the fifth when Aden Diffley singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Cherokee Bluff Middle School lost despite out-hitting Dragons MS five to two.

Cherokee Bluff Middle School captured the lead in the first inning when an error scored one run for Cherokee Bluff Middle School.

In the top of the third inning, Dragons MS tied things up at two. Cody Bridger’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Dragons MS.

Mills was on the mound for Dragons MS. Mills allowed two hits and two runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one.

Bridger toed the rubber for Cherokee Bluff Middle School. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out three. Corbin Cantrell threw two innings in relief.

Chase Kiewert, Bridger, Camden Plumadore, Cohen Carter, and Jordan Wilkerson each managed one hit to lead Cherokee Bluff Middle School.

Diffley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Dragons MS in hits.
