Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears Nabs Win Over North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans Despite Early 3-Run Inning

North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans scored three runs in the first inning, but Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears still won 6-4 on Tuesday. North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans’s big inning was driven by singles by Kian Allen and Owen Stowers.

North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans got things moving in the first inning. Allen drove in two when Allen singled.

Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Cody Bridger drew a walk, scoring one run and Bryce Fontenot singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

Logan Robinson was credited with the victory for Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears. The righthander surrendered four runs on six hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one. Ben Zawacki threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jake Beard took the loss for North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans. Beard allowed seven hits and six runs over six innings, striking out five.

Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears racked up seven hits on the day. Jordan Wilkerson and Fontenot all had multiple hits for Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears. Fontenot and Wilkerson each managed two hits to lead Cherokee Bluff Junior Varsity Bears.

North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans racked up six hits in the game. Allen and Carson Brown all managed multiple hits for North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans. North Hall Junior Varsity Trojans was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Kenny Foudy made the most plays with five.
